So its been a minute…7 days, but who’s counting…since I’ve posted but I promise its with good reason! I have been so busy working on the house and the projects I’m doing of course take WAY longer than I intend. It never fails – I have deadlines and they never, ever work out. I’m not sure why I am surprised when this happens but I always have the best intentions to be focused and dedicated and get it all done on time. (When you are a crazy type A like myself, it is very frustrating to not meet goals and deadlines!)
One of the projects I’m working on is recovering the seats of the dining room chairs. This is the fabric I’ve chosen and I am in love! It is called surf and is a pale grey-green that is gorgeous in person. Getting this finished should be easy but by the time I get home at night, I am exhausted and/or something else always seems to come up. Hopefully this simple project is finished soon so I can feel accomplished and move on to the next thing!
And as far as the painting goes? I have to finish the trim in the dining room and entryway and then I can tell people that I am finished with two, count them TWO, rooms! Let’s not discuss how much more painting there is to do when these two are finished, okay?
Going to be FAB! Don’t feel bad about not posting, you are making PROGRESS!
xoxo, Emily

[…] the fabric I showed you? I love it and am so happy with how much better it makes our chairs look. The best part of this […]
I would love to order that ‘surf’ fabric that you noted in your blog. Where did you get it?
Kindly,

Hi Heather,
I got the fabric on fabric.com but it looks like they don’t carry it anymore. So sorry!
Thanks for reading!
