Aloha!

May 29, 2012 by Laura

Last week I was on the best vacation of my life! Conner and I were in Maui for 7 days of fun and relaxing. We stayed at the Four Seasons Resort in Wailea and had the most amazing service ever. If you get a chance to go, do it! You will never regret it. Since Conner earned this trip for us, it was free…which probably helped our experience a little but it was still phenomenal!

The view from our room was absolutely breath taking! I love that we had an ocean view. I’m not sure how we got so lucky as some people in the group looked on to the machine shed.

You know your resort is really nice when you see famous people, including Steve Nash! Bless his heart. We were there during play-offs and he was vacationing instead of playing basketball. He heard a lot of “Thunder Up” from our group as we passed him each day.

Speaking of Thundering Up, we rented some pool-side cabanas and had the best time ever. It was the perfect way to cheer our team on to victory!

An infinity pool overlooking the ocean is the sweetest way to spend your day, we couldn’t get enough of this spot!

Some people left the resort to find waterfalls…the only one I needed was right in this pool! (I know, clearly not the same but I didn’t have to drive on a scary, twisty road to see this one)

I read the whole “50 Shades of Grey” trilogy on vacation. I counted at least 8 books at the pool each day! The mai tai filled pineapples were a hit with our group as well.

Conner was in heaven while playing golf on vacation. They were at the Kapalua Plantation Course and the views were stunning!

While the boys played golf, the girls relaxed! I got a massage in this thatched-roof hut overlooking the ocean. It was the best massage and most relaxing one I have ever had.

Snorkeling in the ocean with this view was pretty cool.

We ventured off of the resort for some incredible food and scenery at Mama’s Fish House. It was the best food on the trip!

Crab and lobster stuffed mahi-mahi with lobster tail on top. Thanks, Mama! I could go for another one of these right now.

Finally, it was time for the awards dinner. We were on the Four Season’s ocean-front lawn. It was beautiful and delicious!

The reason we were in Maui – so proud of my husband for his hard work so we could go on this trip!

Seriously – this view and this place? Stunning!

My favorite part of our days – nothing better than looking at the sunsets while hanging out at the beach with my rock star boo!

Those pictures are breathtaking. It’s making me want to head to Maui. I love infinity pools, particularly if they’re in paradise.
