A Dyson love story

Today, this arrived on our front porch…

And after one time of using it, in only one room, I am 100% in L.O.V.E. !! Seriously. After using the Dyson Animal Ball in just our living room, I was convinced this pricey piece of cleaning equipment was here to save my life. It sucked up just as much stuff in one room that I normally get from the whole house! SICK.

I love how light it is (my parents have the regular animal and my mom complains about how heavy it is) but still has the serious power of the regular animal. It even got me motivated enough to finish taking down all of our Christmas decorations and start preparing our house for a new year.

Please don’t be like us and waste any more money on the cheap vacuum cleaners. Do yourself a favor and head to Bed, Bath & Beyond to purchase one of these with your 20% off coupon! You will love it just like we do.

P.S. No, I was not compensated by Dyson or Bed, Bath & Beyond to talk about this product. They can if they want to (any takers?!) but I just love our new vacuum and love that we saved $95 by using the coupon at BB&B!

Today, I am currently coveting a housekeeper.

Seriously. I am so OVER cleaning my house. Does anyone else feel this way? The house is clean for maybe two hours and then all hell breaks loose and I’m sad because my “I just spent four hours cleaning this house!” house isn’t as clean as I want it to be. It is such a grind and feels like I’m in the evil mouse wheel of cleaning. So yes, today I am coveting a little fairy housekeeper to take care of the work for me.

I have seen this tip/trick before and finally tried it today as our microwave was in dire need of some TLC!! I am so impressed and wanted to share it with you all.

This was our microwave before. Very disgusting and filthy.

, fill up a bowl or measuring cup with 1 1/2 – 1 3/4 cups of water.

Second, cut a lemon in half.

Third, squeeze the juice of both halves into the bowl of water.

Fourth, put the container of lemon water in the microwave on high for five minutes. When it is finished, let the container sit for a couple of minutes and steam the inside.

Fifth, pull the container out and wipe down the walls with a towel or paper towels. The grime and gunk should come off easily with no scrubbing required!!

This is our clean microwave after! So nice and clean without using any chemicals. Fantastic!! I hope it works for you like it did for me. 🙂
