Today, I’m currently coveting this delicious looking appetizer: Grilled Brie with Strawberries and Honey!

This was in featured on Twitter this week, courtesy of Coastal Living, and I’m so happy they did! This looks so delicious and pretty easy. I love cheese. I love fruit. I love grilled food. This is obviously a must-try for me!

Long Weekend Blues

Today is Tuesday. Normally that would be okay but after a long weekend it is the worst! I am so thankful to everyone who has served, currently serves or will serve our country and don’t mean to sound ungrateful by any means. A three-day weekend is more than I deserve but after three days of moving, family and relaxing, a full day at work seems so exhausting!

I want to be at a spot like this (courtesy of Coastal Living) with not a care in the world! I love the white and neutral concept here and wish my view looked like this. I wouldn’t ever leave, even when the three day weekend was over!

I got an e-mail last week with the title ’50 Favorite Rooms’ from Coastal Living. I had a hard time picking out my favorites as they feature some amazing rooms that embody the feeling spring!

The view speaks for itself in this one. So jealous! The tables in this picture are what do it for me though. The distressed garden stool is so pretty and the coffee table with driftwood as the base? In love. Everything else is neutral because that table definitely deserves to be the centerpiece of the room!

I would love to entertain in this kitchen! It is open and airy and those hanging lights are fabulous! I love how texture is the new color for the season. Everything can be neutral but throw in some rattan, burlap or jute and it pops in the room.

Don’t even get me started on this pool. It is the perfect picture of a ‘grown-up’ swimming pool. I miss my parent’s pool so much and this picture doesn’t help at all!

Eating dinner in this dining room would always be a special event! How could it not with the open doors and the view out to the ocean? I love the numbered pillows in each of the chairs too.

This bedroom is so fun! It is neutral but with the right pops of colors that all tie together with the rug. The yellow lamps are my favorite and such a change from the usual basic lamp bases!

Finally, a pink bathroom!! I have always wanted a special pink room in my house and this pink is perfect. In my dream world, I would have a room with hot pink walls, navy chairs and a white baby grand piano in the middle. I don’t think that’s happening anytime soon but I could definitely start with a hot pink powder room like this!
