One Month!

I can’t wait for this to be my view as I sit pool/Oceanside, sipping a cocktail and reading something frivolous and fun! It will be so very nice to not think about painting or projects for a week. Mama needs a break!

I will be ready for shorts!

I am so excited for warm spring and summer weather, especially our vacation to Hawaii! It is all that’s on my mind lately, even though we still have another four months to go.

I saw a preview for Gap’s ikat collection and I became instantly obsessed! These shorts are amazing and perfect for this year’s warm weather. I love ikat and the fact that the print is on affordable clothing makes it even more amazing.

These blue ikat chevron shorts are my must-have for this summer so now my legs have to cooperate! I am doing really well on one of my New Year’s resolutions and have kept up a good routine at the gym. This year, I will be ready for shorts as soon as the warm weather hits! Last year, it didn’t happen until the end of the summer so this year I will be ready by the beginning! If these shorts aren’t motivator enough, I’m not sure what is.

Currently Coveting

Today, I’m currently coveting Greece!

Why am I coveting it? Because I’m going next May!!

Yes, that’s right. Conner and I are going to Greece for a week long trip next May and I couldn’t be more excited!

Conner’s company offers an opportunity each year for the employees to hit a certain mark within the company and if you hit that mark, you not only get a bonus and raise but a trip for two with the other contest winners!

This year’s contest trip is to Greece and is going to be absolutely amazing. I am the luckiest wife ever – who else gets a free trip to a gorgeous destination like this?!

All of these images are pinned on my Pinterest board as I kept getting more and more excited the closer he got so I kept pinning more images of the beautiful country. I have been hoping all year that Conner would make contest and he did – I am the proudest wife ever!! Love you, boo!
