Last week, I posted my dreams for a great Mother’s Day celebration. I’m pleased with how it all turned out – especially the table! I love this orange and pink inspiration picture and really wanted to make it a reality in our house.
The table runner was the starting point for me with this table. Its actually a full tablecloth (from the colorful summery tableware section at Target) that I folded and used as a runner. The white tablecloth is one my mom has let me borrowed for several years and is from Williams-Sonoma. The napkins are just a yard of fabric I cut into sixths. I love the Greek key pattern playing off of the lines of the table runner ..and of course I love the orange!
The chargers are ones I’ve had for years (from Bed, Bath and Beyond) and the china, flatware and goblets with silver rim are all wedding china and glasses. The pink goblets are also from Target (in the same seasonal tableware section as the runner) as well as the multi-colored dipping bowls. I love that they had several colors grouped together so I bought a pink set and an orange/yellow set.
The flowers are my favorite part. I purchased three sets of colorful roses from our local grocery store that has an awesome floral department (Uptown Grocery for those in the OKC area) and mixed them up to make these arrangements. I am in love with the combination of pink, coral and orange. The vases are from Dollar Tree (the best place for glassware like this!) and I let my mom and grandma each take one arrangement home with them as their Mother’s Day present so now we have one lonely vase – I may need to go get more for myself!
I’m so happy with how the tablescape turned out. This will be a fun and vibrant area to look at as the weather continues to get warmer and warmer – come on, summer!

It is a very happy time in Oklahoma City! The Thunder is headed to its first-ever NBA Finals and the town is pumped. There is blue and orange everywhere you look and I love it. Blue and orange, orange and blue…it is a great combination that isn’t just in OKC. Check out these great pictures of blue and orange in home and fashion.
Gorgeous! The blue maxi dress and orange Marc Jacobs clutch are perfect.
Pattern overload! If you love to mix and match your patterns then this is the room for you. I like how they used different tones of the same color – colors in a room don’t have to be matchy-matchy!
Very cool display! The blue Ball glasses are so pretty.
This is a room I could definitely live in. Clean and crisp with perfect pops of orange!
Thunder Up, friends!

I know I’ve said it before but Tonic Living is one of my most favorite websites for fabric. They have a never-ending supply of inspiration and pure beauty! I love browsing their new arrivals and drooling over some old favorites. (and no, I’m not paid to say this – I wish! – I just really love their site)
This navy chevron? No words. I think you all already know how I feel about chevron, especially if you follow me on Pinterest, but the thick navy with the smaller multi-stripe grey? Absolute perfection. I want to use this and need to find a place for it in my house, ASAP!
Orange. My love. If you are new to my blog, you should know right now that orange and I are BFFs. As a very proud Oklahoma State alum, I wear/live my orange with loud pride! I love wearing it and love having it in my home. This year is a perfect year to be an OSU fan – orange is everywhere for home and fashion! This greek key print does not disappoint, especially in my favorite and most beautiful orange.
This links pattern is very cool. They have it in several colors but I think I like this taupe-tan the best. It could very well be a possible candidate for some chairs in our house. I’m still debating but I love the neutral color and very fun pattern that is different than anything else I have in the house.
Have you found some fabric you love lately? Let me know your favorite resource as well – I’m always looking for something new!
